Xbox's defining advantage is its ecosystem rather than any single exclusive. Game Pass Ultimate gives subscribers access to hundreds of games — including every Microsoft first-party title on day one of release — playable on both Xbox and PC. Xbox Series X/S is backwards compatible with Xbox One, Xbox 360, and original Xbox games, giving it the deepest backwards compatibility library of any current console. Cross-buy and cross-save between Xbox and PC means your game library and progress follow you between platforms for most Microsoft titles, with no double-purchase required.
