About this game

Crackdown 3 is the sequel to 2010s Crackdown 2 and the third game in its series. Crackdown 3 uses Microsoft Azure cloud computing service to improve the game's performance. ###Plot The game continues the plot of its predecessor ten years later. It is set in the future in the fictional city of New Providence. A terrorist attack has blacked out the power on all Earth. The main protagonist is a member of an elite force called Agency that is led by the mysterious Agency's Voice and Commander Jaxon. His or her goal is to track down and annihilate the terrorists from the Terra Nova organization that controls New Providence. ###Gameplay The player controls the protagonist from the third person view. He or she navigates the protagonist in the city and completes missions that involve killing the enemy soldiers and bosses, called Kingpins, as well as destroying terrorists' facilities. The enemies may counter-attack, and the user can provoke a terrorist boss to go out of hiding and engage in the battle by destroying certain facilities that activate the “Gangs Bite Back” mechanic. The game features a completely destructible environment. The character's abilities improve with experience using the “Skills for kills” mechanic. ###Multiplayer Crackdown 3 has both single player and multiplayer modes.
